Diamond Mind Baseball Information

Of course, your managing will make a difference in how your team performs. Look at your Diamond Mind manager profiles carefully. You might want to print these and review them, to plan your changes (if any.)

Please make any desired changes or additions to the manager profile, and bring it or e-mail it back to the Commissioner as soon as possible. (For example, you might want to change your lineups or starting rotation, add pinch hitters to those lists, add or move players to the depth chart or pitching role lists, or change your manager profiles.) Your team will use an automatically generated manager profile until then.

Reading the schedule report requires some knowledge of how it works. The schedule is organized by series (not by individual games, although the schedule gives the beginning date of each series and the number of games in that series.) The boxscore files are named "gm30xxxy", where "xxx" represents the series number on your schedule, and "y" is the game number in that series. (Example: your team is playing in schedule series #156, a four game series. The boxscores for that series would be named gm301561, gm301562, gm301563, and gm301564.)

So reading the schedule will tell you which series numbers your team played in, and you can just read those files and ignore the other ones. (For reference purposes, we will just call a game by its four-digit number, and drop the gm30 part, when we post links on our box scores page.)
