1999-2000 Pro Hockey Contest Rules 1. Objective: Pick four teams, one in each group, that will improve the most throughout the season from last year. 2. Playing the game: pro hockey teams will be divided into four groups based largely on their performance last season. You must pick the team in each group that will improve the most this season. 3. Scoring: a team's score is their total points this season minus their total points from last season. So, a team might well have a negative score at the end of the year, and certainly through most of the regular season. Bonus points will be awarded for the playoffs: two for every playoff win your teams tally. Adding up players' totals is easy. Your score is the total points from your four teams. The Greenbears player with the most points after the hockey playoffs end is the Greenbears champion. Stats will be calculated by the Commissioner periodically, and posted to the web. 4. Making player moves: you cannot change your teams during the season. The four teams you pick at the beginning of the season are yours for the entire contest. If you have questions, e-mail the commissioner at:
There will be NO prize money awarded. There are no refunds if you quit! The Commissioner has authority to settle all disputes and interpret rules. His decisions are always final. Players must abide by these rules and the Greenbears Common Rules. By playing, you agree to these terms.
