Diamond Mind Baseball Information

Diamond Mind Baseball (DM) has replaced our Ultra League fantasy software for the 2000 season. Here is some information that you need to know, if you did not follow our initial season closely last year. I believe once you have tried it out, you'll agree that this is a great game for the Greenbears.

Diamond Mind Baseball is a computer baseball simulation game. It is not a video game; it is an actual game simulation, using actual player stats. These stats are from the previous (1999) season, but they are available for almost any season you would choose, so theoretically we could buy past season disks and replay all of our previous fantasy baseball seasons as game simulations (maybe a couple every winter?)

In DM, you are the manager. You must choose your lineups, pitching rotation, and depth chart. You determine the order of pinch hitters and make strategy decisions. DM also factors in other information, such as era, weather, DH leagues, and even the ballparks themselves, to make the simulation as realistic as possible. And it really is real.
